If you want a resort style holiday - forget it - this is NO RESORT !!! How anyone can claim this is beyond me - false advertising !!! There is no on-site service - you pick up the keys and are then on your own. How the 4.5 star resort claim can be justified is beyond me. I would rate this a two bed holiday flat - no more !! There is no ensuite - bathroom is shower over a spa-bath - pretty ordinary - and filthy - we had to disinfect/clean before even thinking of using it - lots of of scum came out of the spa jets - imagine if anyone was actually in that water thinking that it had been cleaned after the last guest. Spearate toilet - no window in bathroom or toilet. No on-site staff means no housekeeping - nothing in the supplied documentations suggest the place will be serviced in 12 days - D-I-Y cleaning in a laundry tucked into a cupboard - no sign of a vacuum cleaner, just a mop and broom - and the state of the floors was below average - can't guess when they were last cleaned. Any expected 'resort' type facilities just aren't there - the site adjoins Flynns Beach Resort and you have to wander through their premises to get to the pool/BBQ areas. There is no on-site phone - make sure you make you own arrangements. TV is claimed to be Foxtel but the available channels don't match up - I'm guessing it is Austar - there is no TV program provided for whatever service it is - it takes a while to align what channels are available and where they have been programmed - and still no program for the likes of "V", "TLC", "NICK" and "SKY". Don't lose you cheat sheet if you want to get to a TV program quickly. Try not to get a top floor room if you aren't fit - no lift or trolleys - quite a hike with all your stuff to get from the car to your room - and then there is the shopping to consider. If you aren't on the top floor forget about views from your balcony - the traffic noise will drive you back inside quickly - and 95% of the outlook is scrub - no sandy beaches in sight to lust after. Check with Google street view – if you look at the satellite image you think the beach is just a stone’s throw away. Also be careful with your key – you only get one so don’t lose it – remember there is no on-site support, it is a long way to the agent’s office – you’ll have to walk because your car will be locked away – probably with your mobile phone, hopefully it will be during the agent’s office hours. A last note - don't follow the room instructions - if you try to plug the "blue cable" into your "USB port" to connect to the internet you are likely to break either your laptop or the cable - you will have better results plugging the cable into the RJ45/Ethernet port if you want to get connected.
