Maranda Country House

* The accommodation comprises four queen bedrooms made up of a three bedroom house plus a large self contained unit twenty metres from the main house. The main house also has two double sofa beds in the lounge providing comfortable accommodation for up to 13 people.

* The historic village of Broke is idyllically situated on the banks of the Wollombi brook - dozing peacefully in the sun below the massive golden escarpment of Yellow Rock at the western end of the Brokenback Range and nestled on the edge of the World Heritage listed Yengo National Park

Maranda Country House is a wonderful Australian Colonial Home with traditional Bull Nose Verandahs. Maranda boasts a refreshing salt water pool and a private 4 person spa on the verandah with some of the best views in the Hunter Valley.

The unit is available for bookings in excess of 6 people and comes with queen bed and single sofa bed (sleeps 3) bathroom, TV & video, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

The main house has polished timber floors and nine foot ceilings, a large spacious lounge with wood fire heater and a magnificent dining room with panoramic views of the local vineyards, hills and ranges. It also has a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and a modern BBQ so you can kick back and enjoy the ambience. There is a well stocked video library and CD music library plus a large selection of books.

The beautiful spacious dining room offers one of the best views in the Hunter. Watch the kangaroos feeding at dusk and just kick back and enjoy the ambience.
