With spectacular scenery and beautiful beaches Kiama has all the ingredients for a perfect holiday. The Kiama region stretches from Seven Mile Beach in the south, west to Jamberoo Mountain and north to Minnimurra River.

Kiama is a perfect place to rest, relax and recharge the batteries. Only 90 minutes drive south of Sydney, 30 minutes from the Southern Highlands and just over 2 hours from Canberra.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS:

  • Kiama Blowhole - spectacular plumes of water flow from this famous landmark when the seas are right.
  • Bombo Headland - stunning landscape that has been used for television and video locations. An excellent fishing spot.
  • Carrington Falls - a spectacular waterfall almost 50 metres high.
  • Seven Mile Beach - a beautiful stretch of untouched natural shoreline.
  • Minnamurra Rainforest - walk through and experience the forest habitat from a raised walkway that takes you along the creek and close to the abundant flora and fauna.
  • Kiama Harbour - this picturesque harbour is the base for the local fishing fleet and includes a boat ramp and fish cleaning facilities.
  • Surfing beaches - fantastic patrolled and non-patrolled beaches.
  • Local clubs - three great golf clubs, bowling, fisherman's and RSL clubs are all easily accessible and offer a host of facilities.
  • Local fishing - excellent beach and rock fishing and charters are also available.
  • Barren Grounds Bird Observatory - a bird watchers haven this reserve offers several walks and boasts stunning coastal views and picnic facilities.
