Emma's Cottage Vineyard is a boutique winery providing a selection of handcrafted Hunter wines, each with distinctive flavours and unique varietal character. LOCATED in the most beautiful, peaceful and picturesque Lovedale region of the Hunter Valley. Our vineyard comprises of 7 acres of vines with 6 different grape varieties being: Chardonnay, Semillon, Verdelho, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. All our wines are handmade by David Hook, one of the Hunter's brightest winemaking stars, from grapes grown on our property. This means you get true Hunter Valley quality as we nurture the wines through every step, from vineyard to cellardoor. OPEN 6 DAYS, 10am till 5pm (closed Tues). Private tastings can be arranged at other times. Groups Welcome
* Cottage Accommodation: Featuring two NEW, intimate and distinctly styled self-contained, two bedroom cottages nestled in our vineyard, set on 30 rural acres in the heart of Hunter Valley fine wine country. Generous in its ambience, generous in its secluded surroundings. You can relax on your private patio, have a glass of our award winning wine and take in the peaceful views of the vines.
* Each cottage offers a modern interior which reflect, comfort and convenience. Providing accommodation for up to four people and featuring: two bedrooms double sofa bed in lounge for extra guests stylish bathroom fully equipped modern kitchen generous living/dining areas all linen supplied television, CD player and DVD player barbecue and outdoor furniture complimentary bottle of wine from our cellar wine tasting at our cellar door close to fine restaurants and other tourist attractions
* Self Contained Loft: (accommodates 2 guests) Located on top of the cellardoor, this comfortable one bedroom apartment is excellent for a couple. Enjoy elevated views of the vineyard and surrounding Hunter Valley vistas. Emma's Art Gallery is situated within the cellar door. It features works by local artist Megan Barrass. With a continuous changing display of colourful and vibrant paintings. Browse and enjoy the sheer energy that these paintings give.
