WOOLSHED HILL ESTATE is a boutique resort set on 50 tranquil acres in the heart of the famous Pokolbin vineyards, just moments from a vast array of cellar doors, restaurants and all the other attractions of this popular area. The estate offers charming self contained accommodation for small or large groups of up to 24 persons. Varying styles of accommodation include the spacious 6 bedroom homestead, a cosy 2 bedroom country cottage and our very stylish 2 bedroom apartment. All accommodation is fully equipped with everything at your fingertips - air conditioning (not to all rooms), open fire in the homestead, TVs, CDs DVDs, Austar plus a complimentary selection of DVD's. Each style of accommodation has its own gas bbq and outdoor eating area. The perfect setting for family or friends to get together for a short break away or perhaps to celebrate a special occasion, birthday or anniversary.

Guests can enjoy unlimited use of all the facilities free of charge which include a challenging private 9 hole golf course (6 par 4's and 3 par 3's), pristine luxury size saltwater pool and all weather tennis court. Golf and tennis equipment are available for a small hiring fee. We also have a bushwalking track encircling the estate which will take about 40 minutes.

After all this activity, relax on your patio with a glass of Hunter wine and watch the glorious sunsets over the Brokenback mountain range. See kangaroos grazing at dawn and dusk and take in the serenity of life away from the city - do everything - or do nothing !

Midweek rates are $480 per night for 6 people, extra adults $80.00. Extra children $40.00. Weekend rates are $1100 per night for 10 people, extra adults $110. Extra children $55. Weekends require a minimum 2 night stay. The homestead caters for a maximum of 14 adults, and a maximum of 10 children but cannot exceed 14 guests in total.

Cosy 2 bedroom Cottage : 1 queen & 1 twin room, 1 bathroom. Kitchenette. Small dining area with TV/DVD + DVD's/radio/CD. Air cond. Gas bbq. Midweek rates are $160 per night for 2 people. Extra adults $80.00. Extra children $40.00. Weekend rates are $220 per night for 2 adults, extra adults $110. Extra children $55. Weekends require a minimum 2 nighth stay. The cottage caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 3 children but cannot exceed 4 guests in total.
