Kangadoo Cottage is the result of converting the old shearer's quarters and shearing shed into fully self catering accommodation.

The cottage consists of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and an open plan living and kitchen area. There is a large balcony with beautiful views and a BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped and everything you require for breakfast is supplied.

If you would like other supplies purchased for you to be ready and waiting on your arrival, just let Kate know and that can be easily arranged.

The property abounds with native wildlife and birds. You are absolutely guaranteed to see many kangaroos (very close), wombats and a myriad of the most beautiful Australian birds.

Enjoy a swim in the pool after a day of lessons with your horse. In winter you can play snooker by the fire in the homestead.

Dogs are welcome but must be housed in the outdoor runs adjacent to the cottage. Dogs are kept out of the cottage for the comfort of those visitors that may be allergic.

"Kangadoo is the most relaxing, beautifully situated and well-appointed holiday house we've stayed in. It has a lovely old farmhouse character and amazing views over the landscape (including lots of kangaroos). My wife and I enjoyed country walks, the kids had a pony ride and we all swam in the homestead's large pool and watched Kate breaking in a new stallion, which was a great experience for city kids. It's very private and very quiet, and a short trip to Goulburn shops for food supplies. We will definitely be visiting again and can highly recommend it as a rejuvenating country getaway."
