Magpie Creek Thoroughbred Farmstay is located at Boyland, in the Canungra Valley – just an hour south of Brisbane and 45 minutes west of the Gold Coast. Our guests enjoy the local wineries and natural attractions including Cedar Creek falls and lamington national park. We are only a short drive from Tamborine Mountain – where you can bush walk or shop at Gallery Walk or visit the Cheese Making Shop or the local markets. If you are interested in Antiques, then you would love cruising around the mountain roads, and dropping into the small antique shops that are scattered throughout the mountain top.

Visitors enjoy coming to our farmstay because of the peace and tranquillity of the local area.

Situated on 55 acres, you can go bush walking or simply relax on the verandah enjoying the view.

If you are interested in animals, you can enjoy the wide range of widlife in the bush and at the farm.

Visitors can come and help us feed the horses, or they can watch from a distance.

The beautifully renovated federation house features two self-contained units, each with high backed claw foot baths, colonial style furnishings lounge and dining areas.

Each self contained unit includes:Air conditioning, Baby Cot, Bath, BBQ, BBQ – Gas, Books/Magazines Supplied, Breakfast provisions available for self-cooking, Cooked Breakfast Available by prior arrangement, DVD, Faxing Facilities, Games room, Highchair, Kitchen, Laundry facilities, Linen supplied, No smoking, Pool, Tea/Coffee Making Facilities, Television,Off street parking, Videos/DVDs Supplied

The farmstay homestead consists of 3 separate units.

The two availabel units are:

Honeymoon unit (can sleep up to 4 people)

Master Bedroom - queen sized bed

Second Bedroom/sitting room - double bed

Dining/lounge

Kitchenette

Bathroom - claw foot bath and shower.

 

The Family unit (can sleep up to 6 people)

Master Bedroom - queen sized bed

Second Bedroom - 2 sets of single bed double decker bunks

Lounge/sitting room - double bed

Kitchenette

Bathroom - claw foot bath
